About Us

Hello, my name is Luke Pierce, and I run the team here at the sixdecibels workshop. We are based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, where we design and build our range of dedicated digital audio workstations. After working in music retail for over 10 years, I became increasingly frustrated with the retail environment which seemed to focus on 'selling boxes'. The technological revolution has changed the way that creativity is recorded and presented, it is also constantly evolving and I believe the sales environment and staff knowledge also needs to change accordingly.

Here at sixdecibels we focus on individual needs and provide solutions that are based on your workflow. We build, test, service and repair our computers in house and have dedicated repair and service channels for everything we sell. We build all our own audio cables in house and offer lifetime technical support on all the equipment we sell.

We are a collective who actively work within the media industry. This means we have working knowledge of the equipment we sell, and are able to offer independent opinions and product advice along with practical experience in professional working environments.

We have designed and support a number of installations from home users to full studios, broadcast environments and surround sound cinemas, so if you need any information or help, from a pre sales chat to studio diagnostics please feel free to get in touch.
